VOLUNTEER tree planters are needed this Sunday to help the Kooragang Wetland Rehabilitation Project.
The project is run by the Hunter-Central Rivers CMA which is rehabilitating and restoring fisheries and other wildlife habitat along the Hunter estuary.So if you have Sunday morning free why not head out to the wetlands and plant some rainforest trees. To get to the site cross over the Ash Island Bridge at Hexham and follow the signs.The day will start at 8.30am and finish with a morning tea. To join in please telephone 4964 9308 by Thursday so staff can cater for the morning tea.
